Reunion is as renowned for golf as it is for luxury accommodation. Home to 3 championship courses and the Annika Academy set up by Annika Sorenstam, one of the most successful female golfers in the history of the game, to share her golf passion and expertise. The 3 championship courses were designed by three of the greatest golfers in the history of the mens game; Jack Nicklaus, Arnold Palmer, Tom Watson. The courses wind their way through the various resort communities many overlooked by stunning rental homes.
Golf at Reunion is not restricted to resort guests so you can play the courses without staying on-site at the resort. Rates and discounts for rental property guests should be clarified with the owner or manager renting the property.
One question you may ask, given the scale of the resort, is: should i stay in certain communities (there are many communities in the Reunion) if i want to be near the courses or even walk to the first tee? Both the Independence "Arnold Palmer" and Legacy "Tom Watson" courses have first tees at the clubhouse in close proximity to the Reunion Grande in Reunion East while the Tradition "Jack Nicklaus" course in situated within the bespoke luxury communities to Reunion West. Given the I4 interstate splits these two major sections of the Reunion estate we recommend you look to stay in Reunion West if you hope to walk to the first tee of the Tradition course and in Reunion East for the other two courses. Otherwise all courses are easily accessible by car.
